IYKYK MOBILE APP

VideoAmp is an innovative company that built a culture which encourages employees to experiment with new ideas. This sense of autonomy allowed me to pitch, build and launch IYKYK: a native mobile app that amplifies the VideoAmp brand. I partnered with app development agency, Metajive, to combine employee resources, event management and company information into this unique mobile app offered to VideoAmp employees and clients.

From personalized dashboards to exclusive in-app content, IYKYK is a full-fledged native app that was released on both Apple and Google Play stores.

IYKYK debuted at Cannes Lions 2022 to a group of VideoAmp VIP clients. These clients received exclusive access to this app which served as a pocket concierge for their week-long programming.

Beyond Cannes Lions, IYKYK was used for client and employee experiences at CES, Coachella Music Festival and HMCMNG events.

Day-by-day agendas, activity RSVPs, company resources and The Drop Shop are all available within IYKYK.

Check out the project page for The Drop Shop to see how this app changed the game in corporate employee gifting.

During the 2021 VideoAmp Hackathon, I worked on a team project called Pocket App. This 24-hour team project won the Hackathon and led to executive approval to develop the first-ever VideoAmp industry terms glossary within the IYKYK mobile app. Please scroll down to read more about the project.

Pocket App.

Team MK⚡DC included 2 engineers and 2 designers. We whipped up the concept and designs for this glossary app in an adrenaline-fueled 24-hour period.

Our team name used the first initial of our names (Michelle, Kaleho, David, Craig) and is a nod to the AC⚡DC logo.

Additionally, I branded the Hackathon event itself. Participants received a gift box including a t-shirt, stickers and headband using the logo and theme graphics.

The artwork was inspired by the nature of a hackathon. A hackathon is a bit chaotic, allows participants to uncover new skills and is a special event where employees that might not get to work together in their day-to-day roles get to collaborate. The shapes are a nod to the VideoAmp company value icons to bridge brand continuity.
