ABOUT ME

Creative Leader.
Team Builder.

For the past 18 years I have been sharpening my skills as a creative leader in various industries ranging from print publishers, ad agencies and tech startups. I specialize in bringing brands to life across all print and digital applications.

My curious nature and thirst for travel kickstarted my career journey with 4 years spent learning graphic design in Washington, DC, to specialized studies of typography in Italy, to mastering my design skills the United Kingdom. I spent the better part of 7 years working in London, with a stint in Amsterdam. I’ve now been settled in sunny Los Angeles for over a decade.

When I’m not busy designing, I’m most likely planning my return to the Hawaiian Islands, being my dog’s personal chef or hiking up a new mountain.

Dedicated to Learning.

I’m a year into studying the beautiful native language of Hawai’i and pursuing to live Aloha ʻĀina. 🌺

I’m currently enrolled in an Adobe Premier Pro course to make use of the embarrassingly large amount of video content I have of my dog. 🐶

Team Building.

I have successfully built multi-disciplinary and diverse teams. My dedication to building strong teams starts by leading with humility and creating opportunities for others to grow.

Brand Development.

My expertise spans developing a brand from scratch, rebranding an existing one, and all the things in between. I am fluent in building scalable design systems for print, web and video.

Creative Execution.

As a creative director, I lead teams from project ideation to final delivery stages. As a designer, I stay nimble by leaning on my wide range of skills and deep technical background.

Goal-Setting.

I gather all relevant data to set meaningful goals that drive business results. I set and track team work performance and have experience leading company-wide OKR groups.

Event Production.

From global events to company summits, I have a proven track record to successfully plan, design and produce the large amount of assets required for events.

Social Responsibility.

Our impact goes beyond daily job duties. I lead initiatives that bring employees together to help our community: PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), Foster Families and animal shelters.

Outside the 9 to 5.

I pursue personal projects that let me practice skills that aren’t always required at my day job. Here are examples of what I love to do when I’m not on the clock.
