HMCMNG MMXXII

VideoAmp’s second annual HMCMNG event took place at the famous Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida. My design inspiration for this event came from the architecture, foliage and colors of the vibrant host city.

Videography provided by the amazing Billy Fortier and ¡No Problemos! team. Employee gifting and graphic support provided by my small, but mighty team of Kaleho Naki and Annam Tran.

Before design work began, I visited Miami to walk through the hotel and to get a better sense of Miami’s aesthetic style. I was most inspired by the art deco buildings and the colorful neon lights of Miami Beach.

I then put together the concept and presented a pitch deck to all event stakeholders. This design concept set the event’s guidelines for all creative deliverables.

Event Brand Concept.

Sneaking small design easter eggs is something that I enjoy the most. For this event, I created an art deco-style linear tile that nested the words VIDEOAMP 2022. This tile was then used across video and the event stage’s LED backdrop.

Visual consistency of the event started from the first digital invite and carried through to the post-event videos.

Before arriving in Miami for HMCMNG MMXXII, all employees received a swag box full of branded gifts that introduced the event’s theme.

Brand Application.

From the main event floor, hotel check-in area, entertainment venues and main conference hall, each space was uniquely branded.

Employee resource materials such as event workbooks and a custom mobile app were designed to ensure the employees had a clear, smooth experience during the multi-day event.

IYKYK Mobile App.

All HMCMNG MMXXII event information was housed within the IYKYK mobile app. This robust app gave attendees the information they needed during the 4 day event. Day-by-day itineraries, activity RSVPs, venue maps and FAQ sections were included paired with push notifications to alert attendees of any changes to the program. Check out the IYKYK app project page for more details.
