I designed the brand identity, stationery and menus for popular Washington, D.C. - based lounge, Ten Tigers Parlour. Ten Tigers Parlour combines the aesthetics of historic Chinese culture with a nod to Victorian-era designs. The lounge serves up creative Asian-inspired bar foods, has a den-like interior with real fireplaces and features premier DJ's and musical guests.
I designed the brand identity to incorporate a traditional Chinese stamp-like circular emblem with custom typography and hand-drawn patterns. The color palette was derived from the colors experienced within the space; moody and candle-lit.
I designed the extensive full marketing campaign from all print and digital touchpoints. This was the company’s biggest marketing initiative-to-date and was developed around the theme for a “High-Performance-Holiday” being shipped in Q3 to target for Q4 engagement. Design components for this campaign included a pre-delivery email to alert their box is on the way, custom direct mail gift boxes (3 different sizes) sent to around 3,000 programmatic traders, account managers and strategists in the Factual network, a custom interactive microsite (with animations view site here), a 14-panel accordion style booklet with custom sticker sheets, fitness-related branded swag items and 28 ads running on DBM and paid social.
In an effort to provide a closer look into Factual's culture and to aid the recruiting and marketing team, I created 5 videos in collaboration with Station 22. The purpose of these videos was to let the executives and the employees speak about Factual and answer some questions that are common to potential candidates applying to Factual. Videos are shared across social media channels, at recruiting events, and on our company recruiting digital pages.
The videos were shot over two full days at the company's headquarters. I was in charge of directing the different shots for each of the videos and doing the video editing to make sure the company's message and each video's content was on-brand. Station 22 was hired to do the sound mixing, color grading and final production of the files.
There are two long form videos; one focusing on overall "ABOUT FACTUAL" and another video focusing on "ENGINEERING AT FACTUAL."
The three shorter videos are made to be easily shareable and give a more singular focus per video ranging from internships at Factual to client-focused messaging.
An example of one long form and one short form video is available below.
Various print collateral designed for marketing and special events at Lucky Brand. For these projects, I managed the concept, design and press production. Special printing techniques were applied such as foil stamping, blind emboss, custom envelope creation.
I designed this piece of marketing for the strategy and demand teams at Factual. This a double-sided, business-card sized piece of folded collateral highlighting Factual's location strategy capabilities. The front side of the card includes a custom-drawn cartoon strip that walks you through a typical life cycle of a real-life Factual service offering. The characters were illustrated to reflect our actual team members. The back side of the card includes sample location strategy samples and benefits of working with Factual. The double-sided US letter size sheet is sandwiched between removable business cards with contact details to get in touch with Factual's strategy team.
I illustrated, designed, produced mechanicals and performed all proofing for final execution.
